My Blue Stars-sponsored "Partnering with Collegiate Music Education" is Complete!

With a guest lecture visit to the University of Minnesota - Duluth complete today, I am proud to announce the conclusion of this year's "Partnering with Collegiate Music Education" Tour. This annual tour of guest lectures, as well as conducting and ensemble clinics, was again made possible by the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps.  The tour this fall encompassed these nine excellent institutions:

• The University of Louisville
• The University of Kentucky
• Western Illinois University
• The University of Illinois
• Concordia College - Moorhead, MN
• The University of Minnesota - Duluth

Thanks to all of the faculty and students who made me feel welcome on their campuses as we made great concert and marching music together, and as we discussed some of the most important topics in the world of music education.  Finally, continued appreciation to the Blue Stars for the commitment to music education!
